The innovative Green Genie pressurised pond filters offer the ultimate in combined filtration systems.The closed pressure system contains more good bacteria than a similar sized surface filter making it much more efficient.
Being pressurised by the pond pump, the pond water can be pumped up from the partially buried Green Genie Xtreme filter to the top of a waterfall making it much easier to hide. Maximum of 1m in height recommended.

High performance Pressure Filter System with intergrated Ultraviolet Clarifier
- Water is pumped from the pond into the Green Genie Xtreme pressure filter. It is then exposed to UV light causing the particles to flocculate.
- The water after being exposed to the UV light is then directed tangentially creating a mini vortex which settles out the suspended particles.
- Almost solids free the water now passes through the bio-media where freindly nitrifying bacteria eliminate toxins and other harmful pollutants.
- The water is then forced up through heavy duty reticulated filter foams of different grades and any remaining particles and algae clumps are removed preventing them being returned to the pond.
- Clean clear water is then returned directly to the pond via a hose or waterfall.
