Denitrification filter for aquaria up to 3,000 litres. The Nitratereductor NR 5000 uses the same biological principle as the smaller model. It has a volume of 30 litres and is supplied with an internal circulation pump, plus the connection for a pressurised redox probe with a PG 13.5 thread.
Feeding the bacteria can be performed manually with Denimar or automatically using Deniballs in conjunction with an mV (ORP) controller. The Nitratereductor NR 5000 is a closed system, and should be supplied with feed water via a bypass or a dosing pump at a rate of 12 - 30 l/hr (c. 3 - 8 gph).
